There are several ways to get support for travelling to the symposium. This page gives an overview, and we are happy to help with documents your institution may ask for.
Travel grants from the symposium
A limited number of travel and accommodation grants are available for early career researchers. Read more and apply on the Registration page.
Erasmus+ funding
Staff and students at institutions that take part in Erasmus+ may be able to use Erasmus+ mobility funding to attend the symposium. Whether you are eligible, and how much you can receive, is decided by your home institution and its national agency, and the rules differ between countries and institutions. Contact the international office at your home institution early, ideally several months before the symposium, and ask what is required.
The symposium is held as a two-day international event with a scientific programme, keynote presentations, peer-reviewed contributions and a pre-symposium session for early career researchers. You can find the full programme on the Programme page.
Documents we can provide
On request we can provide the programme, a letter of invitation and a confirmation of attendance after the symposium. Write to playfulsteam2027@ucn.dk.
Other sources of funding
Many universities, doctoral schools and research networks have travel funds for conference participation. Ask at your department or doctoral school.
