A free bus takes participants from UCN to Kunsten on the afternoon of 7 October and from Hotel Hvide Hus to UCN on the morning of 8 October. A visit to the Life Foundation is also part of the programme.
Kunsten Museum of Modern Art Aalborg, Kong Christians Allé 50, 9000 Aalborg, is North Jutland’s leading museum of modern and contemporary art. The building was completed in 1972 and designed by Alvar Aalto with Elissa Aalto and Jean-Jacques Baruël. It is the only museum building outside Finland that Aalto designed.
We will have dinner at Brasserie Kunsten. Symposium participants can walk around the museum and see the exhibitions free of charge.
